NEVER FORGOTTEN GAMES - August 28, 2021
August 28th, 2021 at the Shasta District Fair and Event Center
The Never Forgotten Games is a functional fitness event held in Northern California, hosted by the Redding Peace Officers’ Association, a 501(c) non-profit organization. Teams of 4 compete in five hero WODs designed in the names of five first responders who’ve died in the line of duty. The families and agencies associated with the fallen first responders are invited to the event and get to experience first hand, the level of support our community can provide.
The Never Forgotten Games is ran entirely by donated time and money. Proceeds raised by the event are donated to the Northern California Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors, 555 Firefighter Fitness, and several local youth programs.
Divisions: Four person teams. RX (all male, all female, coed) 50 teams, Masters (40+ coed) 10 teams, Elite (coed) 10 teams.
Structure: 3 scheduled main events, 2 floaters, and one finale winner take all event for Elite division.
This year we have partnered Born Primitive fitness apparel, Compete Force, Point One Vision, Reign Body Fuel and a number of other National and local level sponsors.
Workouts will be released one at a time; starting one month before the event.
